Small, fine guest house with a garden in front of the guest house and in the inner courtyard, inexpensive lunch menu and very nice service, is not far from the Herrensee

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the place where locals drink an evening long. Behind the bar you find a long corridor bringing you to the guest garden. Typical old fashioned plastic table cloths. Very friendly service, extremely organised and fast. Always willing to arrange a table for anyone who enters. Good local food with schnitzel and fries, but also vegetarian options. I had a great mushroom egg plate, with the local eierschwammerl. It all came at a very good price, including dessert and local beers. Worth a try if you want it to be simple, good and straight forward with a big smile of the waitress.
