Županija Gutenbrunn postoji od 1379.g.
Mnogo vlasnika je dvorac promenuo, Jakob Daniel Edler von Tepsern 1709.g. kupuje imanje i obnavlja ga.
On je sahranjen u ovoj crkvi, kao i Biskup Franc Anton Marxer.
Zanimljivo je reći, da je dvorac, carica Marija Terezija dobila na kocki od Jakoba Daniela von Tepserna.
Ona je 1755- 1758. g. sagradila crkvu.
Od 1758-1775. g. postaje mesto hodočašća.
Unutrasnjost crkve je fenomenalna.
Predivne freske očaravaju.
Barokni stil preovladava svuda.
