Compton on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fernab jeden Massentourismus und Kommerz ist das Motto dieser Hütte und, wenn manchmal auch nur der Wirt und sein Hund anzutreffen ist, der Wirt mit Holzarbeiten beschäftigt ist und trotzdem jeden Gast herzlich willkommen heißt, dann ist die Philosophie wohl nur bestätigt und glaubhaft! Far from any mass tourism and commerce is the motto of this hut and, if sometimes only the host and his dog can be found, the host is busy with woodwork and still welcomes every guest, then the philosophy is probably only confirmed and credible!
D	Daniel Stocker on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Urige Almhütte mitten im Wald mit atemberaubender Sicht auf den Reißkofel. Sehr freundlicher und geselliger Hüttenwirt. Leckere Hüttengerichte, regelmäßige Veranstaltungen. Die Compton-Hütte kann sehr gut zu Fuß oder mit dem Mountain Bike erreicht werden und hat sogar im Winter geöffnet. Rustic alpine hut in the middle of the forest with a breathtaking view of the Reißkofel. Very friendly and sociable host. Delicious hut dishes, regular events. The Compton Cabin can be easily reached on foot or by mountain bike and is open even in winter.
j	johann petscharnig on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Der Mario ist mit Leib und Seele Hüttenwirt! Haben Übernachtet was sehr schön und Ruhig in der Bergwelt vor sich geht! Kleiner Nachteil vielleicht ist das sie leider so Abgelegen ist das man Umständlich zur Hütte gehen muss sollte man viel Gebäck hat für Übernachtung. Aber der Mario holt einen nach Absprache mit dem Auto! Danke an den Mario für seine Herzliche Mühe und Einsatz. Wünscht da Enzianhonse Mario is a hut host with body and soul! Have stayed overnight what is going on very beautifully and quietly in the mountains! Small disadvantage maybe that it is so remote that you have to go to the hut if you have a lot of pastries for overnight. But Mario will pick you up by arrangement with the car! Thanks to Mario for his heartfelt effort and commitment. Wish gentianhonse

Great hiking trail to the hut, great panorama. The landlord has a good sense of humor. I have never eaten such a large and super sandwich with bacon.
P	Philipp Heisler on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ich kann die Begeisterung über diese Almhütte nicht ganz teilen, das Alpenpanorama ist zwar besonders, aber sonst bekommt man hier nicht viel geboten, da sind andere Almhütten rund um den Weissensee attraktiver. I can't quite share the enthusiasm for this alpine hut, the alpine panorama is special, but otherwise you don't get much on offer here, other alpine huts around the Weissensee are more attractive.

Netter Hüttenwirt mit schmusigem Hund.? Fantastic location with a view of the mountain range. Goods with the e-bike from the Weissensee had delicious noodle soup with sausage, then a nap in a deck chair what more could you want, the peace and quiet is fantastic. Nice hut keeper with a cuddly dog
