I arrived to the hotel late in the night to attend 5 days long academic meeting. I was surprised how relaxed and calm the staff was about me arriving late and not having all documents on me. They didn't even want me to pay until the day I was checking out. They had a little cosy bar next to the lobby and very friendly and heartwarming staff. I arrived at the time of wall repainting which was little inconvenient. I considered negotiating discount for the stay while painting. However, the staff was so neat and kind and the stay was so cheap that I was happy with paying the full price. Personally, I had bigger problem with the smoking area located in the bar inside the hotel. I could sometimes smell the smoke, but I learned that smoking in bars was surprisingly standard in Klagenfurt area. Some my colleagues complained on noise from the nearby railway. However, I did not have issues and I think It could have had something to do with the orientation of the rooms. My balcony was oriented away from the street and it was quite and cosy. Overall, I was satisfied with the service I received for the price I paid. I
