★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kinderoper sehr nett, das Sitzplatz Management unter jeder Kritik: Erwachsene sitzen vorne auf Kinderplätzen, die Kinder hatten hinten sehen nichts. Wie kann das sein????
Children's opera very nice, the seat management under any criticism: adults sit in front on children's playgrounds, the children had no look behind. How can that be????

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Als Dependance der Wiener Staatsoper hat das Theater in der Walfischgasse regelmäßig Interessantes zu bieten. Hauptsächlich wird es für die Kinderoper genützt und ersetzt den störenden Aufbau am Dach der Oper. Aber auch andere Veranstaltungen wie z.B. Künstlergespräche finden dort statt. Diesmal gab es ein Publikumsgespräch mit dem Operndirektor, wie immer sehr interessant. Auf jeden Fall bildet dieses kleine Theater eine Bereicherung die mir immer wieder Freude bereitet.
As a branch of the Vienna State Opera, the theater in Walfischgasse regularly has interesting things to offer. It is mainly used for the children's opera and replaces the annoying structure on the roof of the opera. But other events such as artist talks also take place there. This time there was an audience discussion with the opera director, as always very interesting. In any case, this little theater is an asset that I always enjoy.
