Because I really cannot believe that people are willing to queue everyday for that industrial tasting ice cream, when literally 5 min away there is a place like Schelato, which has one of the best ice cream I've ever had in my life. Guys, you do a great job and deserve all the best!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Schelao offers typical Austrian ice-cream - quite different from the fruity and milky Italian gelato. Normally the Austrian-made gelato / ice-cream is much heavier, with a lot of eggs, milks and other goodies inside. Schelato falls on the lighter side of life. Most of the kids I know love Schelato, they simply sell s sort of sweet superfood made from bio ingredients. All in all, Schelato had some different ice-cream assortments and seems always worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Possibly the best ice cream in Vienna. Tried it out on a whim once, got 1 ball and went back for 2 more. Pistaccio was delicious, others were also excellent or very good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent ice cream! They offer a variety of rather unusual flavors which are all worth trying (watermelon feta etc). Not cheap but definitely worth the price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious gelato, with a regularly changing selection of tasty flavours both common and uncommon. Fruity flavours are very fresh and no sign of artificial additives.
Lines can get a bit long on hot summer days, and it’s not the cheapest ice cream option - but well worth it in my opinion.
